Edmond Wattes was a member of the Stationers' Company in London during the late sixteenth century. He was apprenticed to Thomas Butter in 1583 and was turned over to William Norton the same year. Wattes gained his freedom from servitude in 1590, completing his apprenticeship in the London book trade.
