Introduction
John Hippon was a bookseller in London who was freed from his apprenticeship to Mathew Law on 1 July 1602. He was a member of the Stationers' Company and operated a shop on Watling Street adjoining the Red Lion Gate. In 1603, he commissioned Thomas Creede to print a book titled 'A casting up of accounts of certain errors' for him.
