Introduction
Toby Salsberie was a member of the Stationers' Company who worked as a bookseller or printer in London during the early seventeenth century. He was bound as an apprentice to Bartholomew Fowler on 25 March 1604 and gained his freedom through servitude on 7 September 1612. Salsberie subsequently took on apprentices of his own, including John Grosse, whom he bound on 25 March 1615.
