Introduction
John Rogers was a member of the Stationers' Company in London during the mid-sixteenth century. He was bound as an apprentice to the prominent printer John Day on 29 September 1559 and gained his freedom through servitude on 8 December 1568, establishing himself as a tradesman in the London book trade.
