Introduction
Henry Hammand was a stationer and member of the Stationers' Company in London. He was made free of the company on 1 October 1556, though he was not mentioned in the charter despite being an original member. Hammand was active in the book trade during the mid-sixteenth century, taking on multiple apprentices between 1558 and 1566.
