HERTFORD (WILLIAM), printer in London, was probably the son of John { HERFORD, John ‹ LBT 28417 › } and Katherine Hertford { HERFORD, Katherine ‹ LBT 05120 › }, and continued to print at their old address in Aldersgate Street. He printed about 1555 for W. Seres { SERES, William ( - 1580) ‹ LBT 08396 › } a work by John Aungell and in 1559 a broadside prayer in verse by John Pyttes, but beyond these nothing of his work is known, nor was he a member of the Company of Stationers.
