== Introduction ==
<div style="width:90ch;">
Barnaby Murfeld was a member of the Stationers' Company in London during the late sixteenth century. He was bound as an apprentice to Ryce Jonnes in 1579 and turned over to Thomas Daves in 1580, gaining his freedom through servitude in 1587. Murfeld subsequently took on an apprentice of his own, William Woodcock, in 1590.
