Introduction
John Holland was a member of the Stationers' Company in London during the early seventeenth century. He was bound as an apprentice to John Harrison on 4 June 1598 and gained his freedom through servitude on 25 June 1605, indicating he trained as a printer, bookseller, or related tradesman in the London book trade.
