Introduction

John Fayreberne was a stationer and member of the Stationers' Company in London. He was an original member of the Stationers' Company upon its incorporation in 1557 and served as beadle to the Company, with the registers apparently written in his hand. Fayreberne took out a license to print a ballad in 1570, and his name disappears from records after 1573.
