Introduction

William Harrison was a member of the Stationers' Company in London during the late sixteenth century. He was bound as an apprentice to Christopher Butler on 2 February 1592, and subsequently took on at least one apprentice of his own, Robert Bond, indicating he established himself as a master craftsman in the book trade.
