Danyell Spede was a stationer and bookseller active in London during the early seventeenth century, primarily based at The Blazing Star in St. Paul's Churchyard from 1616 to 1620. He was bound as an apprentice to Matthew Law in 1603 and achieved his freedom from the Stationers' Company in 1614. Spede was the son of John Speed, the celebrated historian, and he took on at least two apprentices during his career in the book trade.
