Thomas Jones was a bookseller in London and member of the Stationers' Company, active from 1596 to 1637. The son of printer Richard Jones, he was freed by patrimony in 1596 and maintained shops at several locations including near Holborn Conduit, the Black Raven near St. Clements Church, and the Strand near York House. Jones dealt chiefly in theological literature and issued some plays, and took on multiple apprentices in the binding trade before assigning his copyrights in 1633.
