Admitted freeman by redemption on July 6th, 1570 [Arber, i. 420], and the same year contributed twelve pence towards the enlargement of the hall [Arber, i. 428]. He is found taking apprentices from July, 1577, to 1604 [Arber, ii. 79, 128, 700, 736], and in August of the latter year he was fined for using "undecent language" [Arber, ii. 839]. He does not appear to have published books and his address has not been found.
